Progressive Machine Company's Model 609 is a basic, common sense engineering solution that provides accurate and effective unwinding. The 609 utilizes a direct motor to reducer drive and high quality variable speed control circuitry.
The Model 609 offers several options for tension control including the standard STC (dancer), 5- Pulley STC, and the Progressive non-contact loop controller or Telesensor. The variety of tension control options permits the effective payout of any number of sensitive products without the risk of damaging due to improper tensioning. The Model 609 is typically used to feed any prime mover without a physical connection. It is commonly used on everything from fine wire to stamping operations.
